Over the earth depicts a black mouthed cur (Canis lupus familiaris) confidently strutting past a blue (velvet) drape. The dog, ubiquitous with wooded hunts, particularly for wild boars, is translated into a jewel-like perception. He is a prize. The saliva glistening on his lips are pearls. His fur, nearly iridescent, captures light like hot amber.

Frames are hand built from solid poplar and finished with traditional paints and oils. All mounting is done using archival methods. Artwork is protected under UV-plexiglass.
