Ghost Fisher II again features a common kingfisher (Alcedo atthis). The bird is shown, flicking and reorienting the (phantom) fish it has just caught, in order to ensure the fish is in position to swallow it head first. This ensures the scales slide down effortlessly, not catching on the bird's esophagus.
